Booking & dates

A date is held only once the booking amount is received. Until then it stays open to other enquiries, however far the conversation has progressed.

Payment

Thirty percent confirms the date, forty percent falls due one week before the first function, and the balance on delivery of the final gallery. Travel and stay for outstation work are billed at actuals and quoted before the event.

Cancellation

The booking amount is non-refundable, as the date is turned away for others. If you cancel more than sixty days before the event, any amount paid beyond the booking amount is refunded in full.

Delivery

A curated preview reaches you within seventy-two hours. The full colour-graded gallery is delivered within four weeks of the last function, and the designed album within ten weeks of receiving your final selections.

Copyright & usage

Copyright in all photographs and films remains with SM Productions. You receive an unlimited personal-use licence — print, share and display as much as you like. Commercial use, or supplying the work to a third party for commercial use, needs our written permission. Please do not apply filters or crops to images you post publicly with our credit on them.

Coverage

We carry backup bodies, lenses, lighting and storage to every event, and mirror every card to two drives before we leave. In the extraordinary event of total equipment or media failure, our liability is limited to a refund of the amount paid for the affected function.

Reschedules

If a date moves, we will do everything we can to move with you. Where our team is already committed, we will offer an equally senior team from our roster or refund the balance beyond the booking amount.
